Tough Mudder 2018

Each of our branches have a Branch Charity of the Year. These charities were nominated by our customers at the beginning of 2018.

On 24th August 2018, Manager Laura and Beckie from our Hamilton Branch took part in Tough Mudder to fundraise for their branch’s chosen charity, St Andrew’s Hospice.

Tough Mudder is 10 kilometres  of mud and obstacles and buy doing this they hoped to push themselves out their comfort zones and raise money to help the hospice.

St. Andrew’s Hospice is well know in Lanarkshire and provides specialist end of life care without distinction of race, gender or religion. Over the years many of us have had family or friends who have needed the support of the hospice. Their annual running costs are approximately £7.3 million, of which nearly £4.6 million has to be raised each year from public donations. As a result, the Hospice relies greatly on the kindness and support of the community.

At the end of August the girls have raised a whopping £1547 with more donations still to collect.

Well done!!!
